Sweet Sunny South is back after numerous Durango performances, including 4 appearances at the Durango Meltdown.
This oldtime bluegrass group has been playing together for 8 years, recorded 4 CD's and has a reputation for putting on an entertaining, top notch show. Fans of bluegrass love their nod to the tradition, but often folks who "don't usually like bluegrass" find themselves new fans of this band.
Based in Paonia, CO they're won numerous awards and accolades but it always comes down to the show, and the songwriting. The band is 3 guys and one gal (who goes by the nickname "Laura Ingalls Wild n Swingin) who all play around a single microphone, grand ol opry style.
